WA Police launch manhunt over Cardup shooting

Police have issued an urgent warning relating to an ‘unpredictable’ trio linked to a violent home invasion where it’s alleged they shot their way in and left a man with serious facial injuries.The victim was attacked by four men in his Cardup home after they allegedly drove into his garage and fired shots through his front door before assaulting him.Three of the four have now been identified by police who say they are allegedly linked to four other incidents, all over a three hour period.

Police say a Ford Ranger vehicle with a Registration”PIGHUNTR” tag was pushed through the garage door of the house, and one shot was fired through the front door just before 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The men went inside and several more shots were fired, including one that hit the man in his twenties, but did not pierce his skin. The victim was then attacked, causing severe facial injuries, police claim.
