Stefanos Tsitsipas Makes History To Reach French Open Final

Greece’s star tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas has entered the final of the French Open. Fifth seed Tsitsipas defeated Germany’s Alexander Zverev 6-3, 6-3, 4-6, 4-6, 6-3 in the semi-finals.

Tsitsipas entered the final of a Grand Slam for the first time. The match lasted for three hours and 35 minutes. Now in the title match, Tsitsipas will face the winner of the match between Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal.

Tsitsipas also defeated second seed Daniil Medvedev 6-3, 7-6 (3), 7-5 to make it to the semi-finals of a Grand Slam for the fourth time. Tsitsipas became the youngest player since Rafael Nadal to reach the final of the French Open men’s singles. Tsitsipas has done this amazing feat at the age of 22 years 305 days. At the same time, Nadal did this amazing feat in the year 2008 at the age of 22 years and five days. Tsitsipas had tears in his eyes after reaching the final of his first Grand Slam.
