Sikh Punjabi Man dies while trying to save three children from drowning


On August 5, two eight-year-old girls and a 19-year-old boy were playing in Kings River, California. They got swept away in the water. Manjeet Singh, 29 who was there with his brother in law saw them drowning. He jumped into the river to rescue them. Above all, Manjeet did not know the kids. Still, he did not think twice before endangering his life to save them.

After Manjeet jumped in, other people also came forward to help. Two kids were taken out on time. However, one eight-year-old girl was underwater for more than 15 minutes. She is on life support.

Unfortunately, the water was strong, and it pulled him in too. After 40 minutes, he was found underwater and unresponsive. He was then taken to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

According to media reports, Manjeet went to the US two years ago from India and had recently moved to Fresno to start a trucking business. It was his first day of training.Everyone is saluting his selflessness.May his soul Rest in peace.
