The country successfully launched ballistic missiles from a train for the first time. The Korean Central News Agency said they launched the missiles during a drill by a “railway-powered missile regiment”. It carried the weapon system along rail tracks in the country’s mountainous central region.
Meanwhile, South Korean and Japanese armies had already feared this move of North Korea. Japan said two North Korean ballistic missiles had also damaged Japan’s exclusive economic zone. The last time a North Korean missile landed inside that area was in October 2019.

According to the Pentagon, North Korea’s missile test gives information about how the country is becoming self-sufficient in nuclear power, it is a big challenge for the world.
Missile test site not disclosed
The Korean Central News Agency has not disclosed the place where the government launched from the train. However, the agency said that they have tested the missiles on the tracks surrounded by dense forest.
A senior North Korean official, Jong Chon also said on Wednesday they have successfully tested missiles. The missiles were tested on the instructions of the ruling party. Jong Chon is the Missile Man in North Korea. He played an important role in the development of missiles.
