Under the leadership of Rashtriya Kisan Mazdoor Sangathan, the farmers surrounded the house of industrialist Mukesh Ambani in Mumbai. Farmers will request him to stop the excessive corporate interference in the farming sector. The farmers will also try to make Mr. Ambani aware of the problems of agitating farmers.
Speaking to reporters at the UP Gate on Monday, President of the Rashtriya Kisan Mazdoor Sangathan said that their fellow farmer leader Raju Shetty has set this program of siege in Mumbai. He told that the farmers will try to talk to Mukesh Ambani. “We are doing this so that Ambani can be made aware of the problems of the farmers”.
VM Singh said that the farmers will request Mukesh Ambani that since the new agricultural law is not in the interest of the farmers, so the corporate should step back. He said that the farmers will also request them to tell the government that they do not want this law and the government should listen to the farmers.
VM Singh said that farmers are unhappy with the agricultural legislation that the government has brought. However, the market is happy. This should not be the case in an agricultural country.
VM Singh warned the government that they should not try to stop the farmers who are coming here with their pain. He said that farmers are coming here from four to four hundred kilometers. Police and administration are trying to stop them. The farmers continue their protest in a peaceful manner. He said that wherever the police will try to stop the farmers, we will make that place Ghazipur. Like the Ghazipur border, the farmers will set up their camps there.
