Farmers Protest Against Haryana BJP State President Om Parkash Dhankar At Panipat Of Haryana

BJP State President Om Prakash Dhankhar arrived as the chief guest at the foundation day function of Bharatiya Janata Party in Panipat, Haryana. But, he faced heavy protests by the farmers of Haryana. The farmers also showed him black flags. 

During the protests there was also scuffle between the farmers and the police. The situation was tense outside the venue. The administration also had deployed heavy police force outside the venue.

According to the information, the program was to start at Sanatan Dharma Vidya Mandir, Sector-13-17 from 3 pm to mark the foundation day. The farmers reached here at two o’clock and started raising slogans. They were opposing the three agricultural laws of the BJP Government. The chief guest BJP state president reached the venue at around four o’clock in the afternoon. After that, the farmers started an uproar. Farmers stopped the state president’s convoy, on which the police force came forward.

The farmers started shouting slogans with black flags. In the meantime, there was a scuffle between the farmers and the police while blocking the way and creating a jam. Although the state president’s convoy entered the venue, there was a situation of tension. After this, police forces were also called from other police stations and stationed outside the venue.

On the foundation day, there was a program to hoist 20 flags at every booth till 9 am. Along with this, there was a meeting with BJP workers and office bearers from 3 o’clock in the afternoon, in which Om Prakash Dhankhar addressed everyone.
